Information & Visualization Services (IVS)

Information & Visualization Services (IVS) has been offering GIS (Geographic Information Systems), cartographic, and information management services since 1995. We support the spatial needs of our clientele, which includes government agencies, environmental managers, banking and financial institutions, and law firms.  We specialize in bringing GIS to local communities and their municipal officials.

IVS has extensive expertise in the use of GIS and CAD (Computer Aided Design), including the development of web-based mapping sites. We provide GPS survey work (Global Positioning System) using field equipment with sub-meter accuracy, and have developed highly accurate digital tax maps for communities throughout the state. IVS works closely with the other firms within the Heindel & Noyes family.

IVS currently maintains licenses for the following relevant software:  ArcGIS ArcView, ArcInfo, Spatial Analyst, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Suite of Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).  For production, IVS has two 8" x 13" flatbed scanners, one 11"x17" scanner, and one large wide-format 36" scanner.  For map production, IVS has the 8 1/2 x 11" HP Color LaserJet CP2020 printer, 3 HP LaserJet black and white printers, and one HP K8800 13x19" printer.  For large map production, IVS utilizes the HP DesignJet 1050C650C for printing maps up to 36" wide.  IVS also has the ability to output any of their maps and documents in PDF format.
