Wastewater Disposal

Sand FilterFor 30 years, Heindel & Noyes has been the leader in the investigation, design and permitting of conventional and innovative wastewater disposal systems. Our firm has investigated and permitted virtually all of the major spray-irrigation disposal sites in the state and has been a leader in investigating, designing and permitting the largest conventional or innovative subsurface disposal systems. Our engineering group, working with staff scientists, is routinely called upon to investigate large tracts of land to identify optimal locations for wastewater disposal system placements with the assistance of GIS technology.  We specialize in hydrogeologic evaluations of wastwewater disposal sites, including evaluations of induced groundwater mounding, interference between disposal areas, seasonal high water table monitoring and data analysis, and potential impacts on water supplies and ecological resources.

We are very familiar with both the indirect and direct discharge permit processes and currently manage more than 10 sites with yearly permitting requirements.
